St James’ – 350 Climate Change Action

Ordinary people around the world are coming up with all sorts of creative ways to make their voices heard by the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December. We want to make a difference. We want to commit to curbing our emissions to 350 parts per million.
Please come and join us and bring your family and friends.
- by the Windmills at Avalon Park, Saturday 24 October 10 – 11am,
- to create a human sculpture of the number 350
- to show your support for the 350 campaign
- bring along paper windmills and placards
At 3.50pm in the afternoon the St James bells will ring 350 times
Read this week’s St James Newslink which has a message from our Archbishops: “This occasion is an opportunity to further demonstrate commitment to our mission by furthering the growth of God’s Kingdom through caring for the earth and the integrity of creation”.
